All participants to an event affiliated to the French Triathlon Federation (FFTRi) should be licensed at FFTri.
However, the FFTRi license is not mandatory for licensees of ITU affiliated triathlon federations from the following countries: Great Britain, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, or Portugal.
For all other licensees from other countries, the participant need to buy a one-day license
And for those without any triathlon license, they need to provide a medical certificate in addition to the one-day license.
